My name is Andrew Fraser (92 : Darlinghurst). I began playing rugby in 1982 and over time migrated to the back row. Two of the fondest school memories I have is winning the Under 15 Grand Final with a rookie called Joe Roff in 1990 (my first ever Grand Final win). Two years later, I played in a 1st XV that was an exceptional team, and beating St Eddies at their place 61-0 was an untold performance. Ultimately we won the ASC & Waratah Shield. Rugby at Marist taught me what hard work can lead to… success. I played after school in Canberra at Vikings and was fortunate to win some 1st grade premierships with some great Marist people. I now live at Lennox Head NSW (Married with 3 children aged 23, 16 & 13) and work in rugby. I am forever grateful for my time at Marist and have lifelong friends from the school and my time in rugby.
Tip for young players-“If you keep cutting corners – you’ll end up in circles.” Do the Hard Yards!
