Now that team lists are being confirmed, we are seeking volunteer/s from each team to be dedicated photographer for your team for the 2025 rugby season, for us to be able to share photos of every team on social media etc after every Sat game. We do need your help as it’s not possible for the committee to be official photographer for every team every week. Just like there’s a manager and coach for each team, we need a photographer from each team please for the 2025 season.
You do not have to be a professional or have a fancy big zoom camera. If photography is your hobby or profession and you have the equipment please please take game day shots, and send us photos weekly. We are NOT expecting professional level photos, even an iPhone works great – just some from each team’s game that we can share on socials (Insta and FB).
What we need from you:
All info you provide upfront helps us greatly as we have 19+ teams to post for every week.
If you’re unable to attend a game, please let your Team Manager know early and be sure to allocate someone else in your team to take photos and get them to us after the game.
Please send an email to socialmedia@maristrugby.com by 1 May indicating your interest in being your team’s photographer for the season:
Thank you so much in advance for helping ensure all our wonderful teams get a feature on socials in 2025 Team work makes the dream work!
Also if you’re not yet following us on our Marist Rugby social media pages, here are the links:

Marist Rugby Committee – Social Media Manager
The Rugby Club is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our newly formed Set-Up and Pack-Up Committee, essential for ensuring our home games run smoothly. We require a team of six individuals, including one committee manager who will oversee the rostering of volunteers and coordinate all activities. The committee’s primary responsibilities include setting up and packing up the fields for home games, which involves running the ropes out for sidelines, pack up and setting up the scoreboard etc.
Training will be provided to ensure all team members are well-prepared for their roles. If you are enthusiastic about supporting our club and playing a key role in game day operations, we encourage you to apply and be part of this vital team. Please submit an EOI to secretary@maristrugby.com

Well done to all teams, coaches, managers, first aiders, photographers, videoograpthers, and parents for the effort that each and everyone of you put into making Marist Rugby
On behalf of the Marist Rugby Club (MRC), we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to you for attending the Marist Rugby Club Presentation Evening and pre-event BBQ on Tuesday, 10th September.
Your presence and participation made the evening a memorable occasion as we celebrated the end of another fantastic rugby season at Marist College Canberra. We hope you enjoyed the event, from the complimentary sausage sizzle and team presentations to the inspiring keynote speech delivered by Henry Hutchison.
It was wonderful to see so many players, parents, and volunteers come together to honor the achievements of our young athletes. Your support and involvement are crucial to the success of our rugby program, and we deeply appreciate your commitment to the club.
We look forward to seeing you at future events and continuing to celebrate our shared passion for rugby.
Thank you once again for making the evening special.
