Wet weather plan for training

Marist Rugby places the safety and wellbeing of our boys as a high priority. During periods of heavy rainfall, storms, or unsafe ground conditions, rugby training may need to be cancelled at short notice.

To ensure that all students remain safe, we require families to establish a wet weather plan with their boys in advance. Parents are asked to work with their sons to determine what they should do if training is cancelled due to wet weather.

If the ovals are closed and training is cancelled, Marist College will advise all boys on the day via an announcement. Marist Rugby will try to post this announcement on socials but this is not always possible due to timing, therefore a wet weather plan is needed.  Please work with your sons now to have this in place.  Establishing this plan ahead of time helps prevent confusion and ensures that boys know exactly what to do if training does not proceed.
