Tricia Martino has been a Marist parent since 2016 and a member of the Marist Rugby Committee since late 2018, initially taking on the role of First Aid Coordinator. Since that time she has also held the job of Treasurer (2021 and 2022) and this year is very proud to be leading the committee as President. Tricia initially joined the Committee to get to know other people and parents at Marist – both of her boys have played rugby each year since they joined the school (Nathaniel finished Year 12 in 2022 and Benny is in Year 11).
Tricia still enjoys the social aspect of being part of a wonderful and dynamic Rugby Committee but also sees participation as a great way to be involved in giving back to the school and the rugby community. It is often said that everyone has an opinion about a problem but not everyone has a solution… Tricia hopes that in taking on a senior role within the Marist Rugby Club that she can work towards finding positive solutions to any issues as they arise and developing and fostering a real sense of community with all the boys and parents who support Rugby at the college.
Tricia is looking forward to a wonderful 2023 season and thanks all to the teachers,
volunteers, parents and sponsors who help make that possible.
